The short version
Hi, I'm Jason and I've been a video professional for over 15 years.
I've worked on everything from corporate talking heads to music videos to comedy series and just about everything in between.
If you have a project you'd like to work with me on, I'd love to hear about it.

The long version
I've always been a technical person by nature. So when I finished high school I jumped right into an electronics and telecommunications program at a local trade school. After graduation I got a position at a Fortune 500 biomedical company as a support engineer. It was a wild place to be as a spry nineteen-year-old.
Around the same time, I started getting involved in the production department at my home church. (That's a thing that just naturally happens when you're technically savvy.) What started as weeding out bad cables and re-soldering stage connections was about to turn into much more.
After 3 years of lugging tools around into labs to repair broken blood culture analyzers and various other too-gross-to-talk-about pieces of medical diagnostic equipment, a full time position opened up at the church that I was now spending the bulk of my free time volunteering for and I made the jump from the very for-profit world into the non-profit world.
By this point I had also started my journey into live audio and video production. (This is another thing that happens when you're technically savvy—you get volunteered to do things because you have a knack for just figuring it out.) That jump from something purely technical to being able to be creative with my technical skill was an 'a-ha moment' for the ages. Over the next 5 years or so, I grew my position from a part-time geek-for-hire into a Technical Director for a growing church. And I guess you could say the rest is history. I've been a full time video professional now for over 15 years working on all kinds of projects. From absolutely-zero-budget, all the way up to multi-thousand dollar months-long productions.
Most recently I've been working as a videographer for Maryland based Project Management software company TeamGantt where I create the company's educational, video marketing, and YouTube content. You can see some of the projects I've done for them on the Client Work page.
In addition to pure video production responsibilities at TeamGantt, I also oversee the growth of the YouTube channel by researching current SEO trends relating to the TeamGantt app and project management topics in general to leverage that content into trial sign-ups and purchases.
