It's no secret that using high end cinema glass on a Red camera will give you stunning images. But what happens when you throw some old photo lenses at it? This was a really fun morning project with my Komodo and a selection of Pentax and Quantaray lenses.
I used a 28mm f/2.8, 50mm f/2.0, and an 80-200 f/5.6. By far, my favorite was the Quantaray 28mm f/2.8. It's optically not the cleanest, but it has such an interesting character to it. I'm excited to use these lenses on a client gig as soon as the right project presents itself.
